- pork

Ingredients:
200-250 ml dry white wine, 200-250 ml vegetable oil, 1 carrot, 2 large onions, 1 clove of garlic, 1/2 lemon (or 250 ml vinegar), 1 small bunch of parsley, 2 bay leaves, black peppercorns .

For the potato side dish

(this side dish can be prepared without barbecue as an independent dish):
- potatoes - 5 large pieces.
- onions - 2 pcs.
- carrots - 1 pc.
- salt, spices to taste
- tomato paste - 2-3 tbsp. l.
- vegetable oil - 2-3 tbsp. l.
- fresh or dried greens

Preparation

Cut the pork into pieces. If you take entrecotes, it turns out less tasty.
Cover the pieces of meat with cling film and beat them vigorously. Then remove the film, pepper, add a little salt and lightly beat again.

Then place the meat in a bowl and sprinkle with barbecue spices.
Cut one onion into small, very thin pieces and mash forcefully in a bowl with meat.
Leave to marinate for 2 hours.

An hour before baking, separately from the meat, marinate the onion for a “pillow”.
Cut the onion into half rings, place in a bowl, pour boiling water over it, pour in 3-4 tbsp. l. vinegar, add 2 tbsp. sugar and salt to taste.
You can also add lemon juice.
After 1 hour, you can begin the main preparation.
Preheat the oven to maximum temperature.
Place baking paper on a baking sheet. Cut a baking sleeve slightly longer than the baking sheet.
Tie the sleeve on one side.
Place the onion in the sleeve and carefully distribute it along the bottom of the sleeve.

Place the meat in a neat layer on top of the onion “cushion” (do not mix with the pickled onions).
Tie the other end of the sleeve. And make several punctures at the top of the sleeve to allow steam to escape.

Place in the oven and bake for about 1-1.5 hours. The time depends on the oven temperature.
The meat should be lightly browned. We take it out and put it on a dish.
The onion is also very tasty - we use it as a garnish.

Peel the potatoes and cut into medium slices.

Chop the onion coarsely.

Cut the carrots into pieces. Do not grate - otherwise it will boil and will not look so beautiful.

Add spices to taste, salt and pepper.

Mix thoroughly and carefully place in a baking sleeve, previously tied on one side.
Pierce the sleeve in several places at the top to allow steam to escape.

It is convenient to bake potatoes at the same time as kebab, because... their cooking time is the same.

Bake for about 1-1.5 hours in a preheated oven at maximum temperature.

    Since chicken kebab with potatoes requires marinated meat, and this takes time, you should start preparing the dish with fillet. The prepared, washed and slightly dried pieces with a paper towel are placed in a bowl, where spices, onion rings (2 onions), salt and vinegar are added. All this needs to be thoroughly kneaded with your fingers and left to marinate for two hours. In the meantime, take care of the potatoes.

    It is cleaned, cut into medium pieces and placed on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil. Add diced carrots and the remaining onion into rings. Salt, sprinkle with spices and pour over tomato paste. Mix everything thoroughly.
    Next, the chicken kebab in the oven with potatoes is prepared as follows: the marinated meat is strung on skewers and placed on top of the potatoes. The oven is preheated and a baking sheet is placed in it. After about 15 minutes (when the top of the kebab is browned), you need to carefully turn it over. And the fact that it’s usual, but this one...tadamm is salty😲. Despite the unusual combination, it turns out juicy, tender, and tasty. Although why is it unusual? 🤔 ? We eat curd cheeses with unsweetened fillings - with the same dill, pickled cucumbers, mushrooms - and nothing, we are not indignant 😆. So I recommend trying unsweetened cottage cheese casserole as a light, nutritious breakfast or dinner.

    If the technology is followed, kebab with potatoes from the oven is practically no different from that cooked on the grill, but instead of skewers, the meat is baked on wooden skewers. In the classic version, chicken or pork is used; beef or lamb is also suitable, as long as the fillet is fresh. The total time required (without marinating the kebab) is 40-50 minutes.

    Ingredients:

    • meat (pork or chicken fillet) – 1.5 kg;
    • potatoes – 6-8 pieces (medium tubers);
    • vinegar (9%) – 80-100 ml;
    • onions – 4-5 pieces (medium);
    • vegetable oil - for greasing the baking sheet;
    • salt, ground black pepper, other seasonings and spices - to taste.

    According to this recipe, chicken meat turns out tender and soft, but with pork, potatoes are more aromatic and juicy.

    Shish kebab recipe with potatoes

    1. Cut the meat into small pieces of the same size, place the pieces in a deep bowl.

    2. Add vinegar, finely diced onion, salt, pepper, and any other seasonings and spices for marinating. Stir, cover with a lid or wrap in cling film, and leave for at least 1-2 hours. Soak the wooden skewers on which the kebab will be strung in plain cold water so that they do not burn during baking in the oven.

    You can use any other marinating dressing recipe.

    3. Peel and wash the potatoes, cut into thin slices, then place on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil (you can do without oil by simply covering the baking sheet with parchment).

    4. Thread the marinated pork or chicken onto skewers like a regular kebab, alternating each piece of meat with several onion rings.
