Every time I write a post about Samsung, I always try to first update the device’s software via kies and write about it, but nothing always comes of this idea, there are some errors, then the model is not supported, or everything freezes.

But in fairness, I’ll say that for the most part, the user himself is to blame for this - either the computer rebooted during the process, or the Internet was turned off, or they didn’t wait for completion and pulled out the cable... But oh well.
So, what about WAVE 525 is another badafone from the segment of low-budget touchscreen smartphones. There was a time when this device was brought in “packs” due to the fact that during use it at one point stopped turning on, namely, it began to load until the splash screen and turned off, and so on in a circle. This is a firmware bug. Our device is no exception. So let's get started...
ATTENTION!!! Before starting software updates, rooting, resetting settings and other manipulations with your own or, God forbid, someone else’s device HIGHLY RECOMMEND read this one. In short, you have been warned and don’t say later that this is the first time you’ve heard this.
Samsung GT-S5250 software update.
For the firmware we need the following:
- A device with a charged battery;
- MicroUSB cable included;
- Firmware - XEKJ3 regular or S525WXEKJ1, if you have LaFleur(S5250W);
- Stitcher - MultiLoader_v5.64_BCOM;
- Drivers - install kies (do not run this application when updating the software) or try installing;
- Computer - I, as usual, used an office computer on WINXP SP3;
- Time - 10 minutes for everything))).
Before getting started, save all important information from your phone to alternative data storage sources (if this is possible, of course).
Step 1:Enter the phone into DOWNLOAD mode by holding down the following buttons on the device in turn - camera button + volume down button + power button.
Step 2:Launch the MultiLoader_v5.64_BCOM application.
Step 3:This is what a running flasher looks like.
Step 4:Click the Boot button and select the BOOTFILES folder from the folder with our firmware.
Step 5:Click the Apps button and select the apps_compressed.bin file from the folder with our firmware.
Step 6:Click the Rsrc1 button and select the Rsrc_S5250_Open_Europe_Slav_Navi.rc1 file from the firmware folder.
