Medal L. S. Vygotsky

Medal L. S. Vygotsky - Departmental Medal of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, established by order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 546 of May 12, 2016 (clarifications were made by Order No. 1223 of September 26, 2016). The medal institution was associated with the celebration of the 120-year anniversary since the birth of L. S. Vygotsky, who has made a significant contribution to the development of science on human development in nature, culture and society.

Medal L. S. Vygotsky awarded citizens of the Russian Federation from among pedagogical workers and figures in the field psychological Scienceshaving a scientist degree of a candidate or doctor of science and carrying out scientific or educational activities (hereinafter - employees) who have made a significant contribution:

in the development of a cultural and historical approach in psychology; in the improvement of the methods of psychological and pedagogical support of citizens; in scientific and methodical support of psychological support. The medal is awarded workers who have experience in the field of psychological sciences for at least 20 years, including in at least 5 years to award awarding an educational or scientific organization.

Description of the sign of award

Medal L. S. Vygotsky has the form of the right circle with a diameter of 27 mm with a convex side on both sides of 0.5 mm high and 1 mm wide is made of nezilber alloy with subsequent oxidation.

On the front side of the medal direct relief-graphic image of Portrait L. S. Vygotsky. On the circumference of the medal on the right side, the embossed inscription letters "Lev Semenovich Vygotsky" and the years of his life 1896-1934 are indicated.

On the revolving side in a circle, the inscription "Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation", in the center of convex capital letters in 4 lines "For merits in the field of psychological sciences", from the bottom up around the circumference and to the left - on the same laurel branch.

The medal with a toe and ring is connected to a quadrangular block with a size of 25 mm by 15 mm, covered with white silk moored ribbon 20 mm wide. In the middle of the tape, two vertical transverse blue strips of 3 mm wide, separated by a white strip in 1 mm. The side edges of the ribbon are bordered with a blue stripe width of 1 mm. Bottom pad is a relief image of laurel branches. The root side of the block is a metal plate with a pin in the form of a pin.

Description of the sign of award

The award sign is a medal with an attached to an eye and a rings with a rectangular block of 25 mm in size for 15 mm and covered with white silk moored ribbon. The lateral edges of the ribbon are bordered with a blue transverse strip of 3 mm wide at a distance of 1 mm from the edges, and in the middle there are two more transverse strips of 3 mm width. Bottom pad is a relief image of laurel branches. On the front of the medal there is an inscription "Honorary Worker of Higher Professional Education", branched on the right side of the olive branch.

The award sign is on the right side of the chest under the state awards of the Russian Federation.
