How to enroll a child for school preparation

For every parent, a very important life stage is the admission of his child to school. But, as a rule, before that, the baby is sent to preparatory courses so that he has the minimum necessary set of knowledge for a first grader.

Every year, the requirements for preschoolers entering the first grade are becoming more and more stringent.

In accordance with Russian law, a child cannot be sent to the first class if on September 1 he has not reached the age of 6.5 years. The upper age limit for a first grader is 8 years.

If parents want to send the baby to a general education institution at a younger or older age, then permission from the commission of the educational system at the place of registration is required.

The application for enrollment in the preparatory group in the school begins on December 1 of the current year, and the admission ends in September of the next.

• he has a psychological trauma and is in a stressful state;

Important to know: Only the parents of a child can correctly assess the state of their baby for school readiness, diagnostics only help them make one or another choice.

Diagnosis for school readiness should be carried out in advance, about a year before the first grade. In this case, mom, dad and child will have enough time to make up for the lack of existing knowledge.

Enrollment in school: in a standard way and via the Internet

By July 10, the leadership of all secondary schools should have a ready list of children for admission to the first grade, who received places by registration. After that, the school will consider applications from other applicants.

The list is formed before September 5, so parents must submit the following documents to the school by this date:

• birth certificate of the child;
• passport of one of the parents or official guardian;
• SNILS baby;
• certificate with the place of registration of the child (not always required).

You can also enroll a preschool child in a school via the Internet. This is a very convenient procedure to avoid confusion and queues. All interested citizens can use it, and each applicant can track the status of their application online.

Parents will be notified of the refusal or acceptance of the baby via an e-mail sent to the e-mail address indicated earlier. The term for consideration of the application and the preparation of a return letter takes 30 days from the date of submission of the application to the "State Services".

Step-by-step instruction

To gain access to the full range of portal services, you must first register and log in by entering information from personal documents.

1. In the list of services you need to click on "Enroll in the 1st class".
2. In the displayed form, enter all the necessary information about the baby (name, birth certificate number, date of birth and addresses of actual residence and registration).
3. In the displayed menu, you need to select 3 general education institutions (minimum) in order of priority.
4. When specifying the second and third additional schools, the reason why the baby will be comfortable studying there is necessarily given. In the main institution, the child will be determined in any case, in the additional one - in order of priority.

Within a month, the leadership of the main educational institution at the place of registration should contact the parents with a proposal to prepare and submit a package of documentation for enrolling their child in grade 1.

If necessary, you can wait for distribution to other indicated institutions, but in this case you will have to wait until the end of August. In no case should you risk the future of the baby, so mom or dad should regularly find out about the availability of places in the institution where they want to send a preschool child to receive a secondary education.
