Died in the war 1941 1945. Databases for finding information about participants in the Second World War

If you want to establish the fate of your relative who deceased or without missing during the Great Patriotic War, then get ready for a long and time-consuming work. Do not hope that it is enough to ask a question, and someone will tell you about your relative. And there is no magic key from the mystery door, behind which there is a casket with the inscription "The most detailed information about Sergeant Ivanovo I.I. for his great-grandfather Edika." Information about the person, if preserved, then it is scattered over dozens of archives of the smallest, often unrelated to each other, fragments. It may turn out that, having spent several years in search, you will not know anything new about your relative. But it is possible that the happy case will reward you in just a few months of search.

The simplified search algorithm is set below. It may seem difficult. In fact, everything is much more complicated. Here are the ways to search for information if it is preserved somewhere. But the information you need could not continue: it was the hardest of all wars, not only individual servicemen - shelves, divisions, army died, disappeared documents, they were lost, the archives were burned ... It is especially difficult (and sometimes it is impossible) to find out the fate of the military personnel who died or missing in the environments in 1941 and in the summer of 1942

In total, the irrevocable losses of the Armed Forces of the USSR (RKKKA, NMF, NKVD) in the Great Patriotic War amounted to 11,944 thousand people. Immediately it should be noted that these are not dead, and for various reasons excluded from parts of the parts. According to the order of the Deputy Commissar of Defense No. 023 of February 4, 1944, it includes irrevocable losses "those who died in the battles who disappeared on the front, who died from the Russian Academy of Sciences on the battlefield and in medical institutions, who died from diseases received at the front, or died on the front From other reasons and captured to the enemy. " Of this number, 5.059 thousand people were missing. In turn, from among the missing, the most part was in German captivity (and only less than a third of them were survived before liberation), many died on the battlefield, and many of those who found themselves in the occupied territory were subsequently reassessing the army. The distribution of irretrievable losses and missing by the years of war (I will remind you that the second number is part of the first) given in the table:

In total, 9.168 thousand servicemen died in the Great Patriotic War and died, and the total direct human losses of the Soviet Union for all the years of the Great Patriotic War are estimated at 26.6 million people. (Numeric data on losses are taken from the works of Colonel-General Krivosheeva G.F., 1998-2002, which are presented to us the most reliable and least politicized from all known estimates of the USSR losses in the Great Patriotic War.)

1. First steps

1.1. Search at home

First of all, you need to know exactly the surname, name, patronymic, year of birth and place of birth. Without this information, it will be very difficult to seek.

Place of birth should be indicated in accordance with the administrative-territorial division of the USSR in the pre-war years. The correspondence between pre-revolutionary, pre-war and modern administrative-territorial division can be found out on the Internet. (Directory of administrative division of the USSR in 1939-1945 on the site Soldier.Ru.)

It is usually difficult to find out the time of the call and the place of residence stay. At the place of residence you can determine what district military commissariat (RVC) he was called up.

The titles can be determined by the signs of differences in the preserved photos. If the title is unknown, then belonging to the ordinary, team and political composition can be quite approximately determined by the formation and pre-biography of the serviceman.

If a medal or an order has been preserved, which the soldier was awarded during the war, then the number of the military unit can be installed by the award number and even learn the description of the feat or military merit awarded.

Be sure to poll the relatives of the serviceman. There was a lot of time after the end of the war, and no longer in the living parents of the soldier, and his wife, brothers and sisters have a very old age, a lot forgot. But at a conversation with them, some small detail can emerge: the name of the area, the availability of letters from the front, the words from the long-lost "funeral" ... write everything and for each individual, be sure to specify the source: "Smyrnova S.I. 10.05 .2008. You need to write down the source because there may be controversial information (the grandmother said one thing, and another is indicated in the help), and you have to choose a more believable source. It should be borne in mind that family legends sometimes transmit some events with distortions (something forgot something, something was confused, something narrator "improved" ...).

It is very important at this stage to determine what folk commissariates (drug addicts, or in modern - ministries) served in the troops: People's Commissariat of Defense (Ground Forces and Aviation), Navy (including coastal parts and aircraft Navy), People's Commissariat of Interior (NKVD troops, border parts). The works of different departments are stored in different archives. (Addresses of departmental archives on the site soldier.ru.)

The main task at the first stage should be put - clarifying the date of the death and number of the military unit, in which the soldier consisted of at least some time.

1.2. If letters from the front are preserved

All letters from the front were viewed by military censorship, the servicemen were warned about it, therefore, usually the names and numbers of military units were not specified in letters, the names of settlements and the like.

The first thing to determine is: Field Mailing Number (PPS or Field Mail). According to the PPS number, it is often possible to determine number military unit. ("Directory of field postal stations of the Red Army in 1941-1945", "Directory of military units - Field Powts of the Red Army in 1943-1945" on the site Soldier.Ru. ) It should be borne in mind that at the same time it is not always possible to determine the specific unit (regiment, battalion, rot) as part of the military unit. ("Recommendations" on the site soldier.ru. )

Until September 5, 1942, the address of the military unit usually consisted of the PPS number and numbers of specific military units served by this PPP (regiment, battalion, company, platoon). After September 5, 1942, the valid number of military units in the address were not indicated, and instead of them, the conventional numbers of the addressees were introduced within each specific PPP. Such conditional numbers could include from two to five and six characters (letters and numbers). It is impossible to determine the actual number of the arrival number of the destination. In this case, only the number of the division or army can be determined by the PPS number, and the regiment number, battalion, the company will remain unknown, because In each army there was its own system of encoding units.

In addition to the PPP numbers on the stamp (center) there is a date of registration of the letter on PPS (actually the date of sending the letter) - it will also be useful in future searches. The text of the letter may be information about the rank of serviceman, about his military specialty, about awarding, about belonging to the ordinary, younger team (sergeant), team (officer) or political composition, etc.

2. Search on the Internet

2.1. Joint Data Bank "Memorial"

2.1.1. The largest resource on the Internet is the official website of the Ministry of Defense "Combined Data Bank" Memorial ". The data bank was created on the basis of documents stored in TsAMO: reports on irretrievable losses, the magazines of the dead in hospitals, alphabetical lists of burials, German personal warheads on prisoners of war, post-war lists of unnecessary from war, etc. Currently (2008) Site works in test mode. The site serves as a search by last name, site call, year of birth and some other keywords. You can view the scandamographs of the source documents in which the personal foundation is mentioned.

When searching, it is also necessary to check the consonant surnames and names, especially if the surname is badly perceived by rumor, - with repeated rewriting, the surname could distort. The error could also allow the operator when entering handwritten information into the computer.

In some cases, there are several documents for one serviceman, for example: reporting on irrevocable losses, a name of the dead from the Russian Academy of Sciences, the alphabetical list of the dead in the hospital, a certificate of military disposal card, etc. And of course, very often no documents are on a soldier - mainly it refers to missing war in the initial period of war.

2.2.1. In addition to the site of the PBD "Memorial" on the Internet there are several available databases with search for surnames (page of links on the site of soldiers.ru).

2.2.2. Regardless of the search results on the site "OBD Memorial" and in databases, it is necessary to search in several search engines on the Internet, asking for a known information about a relative as a search string.Even if the search engine will inform you anything interesting on your request, you should repeat the search for various combinations of words, check synonyms and possible reductions in terms, names, names.

2.2.3. It is necessary to visit the genealogical and military historical sites and forums, view the catalogs of sections of military literature on the websites of electronic libraries. Read the memoirs found on the Internet for soldiers and officers who served on the same section of the front as your relative, as well as the descriptions of the fighting of the front, army, divisions in which he served. It will help you very much later. . And just useful to know about everybody of that big war.

2.2.4. Do not fully trust the information received from the Internet - often no one is responsible for its accuracy, so always try to test the received facts on other sources. If you do not manage to check, then make a mark or just remember which information is obtained from the unverified source. In the future, you will often come across information that are unlikely, unreliable, dubious or even most likely false. For example, very soon you will have a list of namesakes, a wanted relative who have some facts of biography coincide with the necessary you. It is not necessary to throw away anything, but it is necessary for each new fact. Specify the source from which you received it - maybe in a year you will have new information that will be forced to evaluate the information collected in a new way.

2.2.5. If you have now a desire to ask your question at the Military History Forum, do not hurry. To begin with, read messages on this forum in recent weeks. It may be that such questions have already been asked repeatedly, and the permanent visitors to them have already answered them in detail - in this case, your question will cause irritation. In addition, on each forum there are rules and traditions, and if you want to get a friendly answer, then try not to violate the behavior standards accepted on the forum. Usually, when writing, the first message should be introduced on the forum. And do not forget to specify the email address for those who want to answer you by writing.

2.3. Memory books

2.3.1. In many regions of the country, the memory books have been released in which the alphabetic lists of the inhabitants of the region who died or missing during the Great Patriotic War are contained. The books of memory are multi-volume editions, with them can be found in the regional library and in the military office of the region, but it is difficult to find them outside the region. In some areas of the country, in addition to the regional book of memory, the books of memory of individual districts have been released. Some books are available in electronic versions on the Internet. Since the publication of different edges, regions, republics and regions were prepared by different editorial groups, the set of personal information and the design of different publications are different. As a rule, servicemen, born or designed to army in this region, are specified in the memory memory books. You should check both memory books: published in place of birth and published in the venue of the military personnel. (Links to electronic versions of memory books on the Internet on the site Soldier.ru.)

In the memory of some areas, in the territory of which combat actions were conducted, information about military personnel who died and buried in the region are given. If it is known, in which region a soldier was killed, you need to check the memory book of the corresponding area.

2.3.2. The large database of the dead servicemen is available in the museum on a possessing grief in Moscow, and the Museum staff provide references both with personal contact and by telephone, but the database installed in the museum is abbreviated (contains only last name, name, patronymic and year of birth), A full database, created on state-owned money, is now private property and is practically unavailable. In addition, with the advent of the site "OBD Memorial", both databases can be considered outdated.

2.3.3. If it is not possible to access the desired memory books, you can contact the book of the desired area on the Internet forum with military historical or genealogical theme. In addition, many cities have their own websites on the Internet, and most of these sites have their own regional forums. You can ask a question or ask exactly at such a forum, and you will most likely give advice or a tip, and if the settlement is small, you may find out some question in the military registration and enlistment office.

It should be borne in mind that errors are also found in memory books, their quantity depends on the conscientiousness of the editorial team.

3. Receiving information from the archive

3.1. About personal accounting of the dead and missing soldiers

3.1.1. This subsection provides brief information about personal accounting of military personnel who died and missing during the Great Patriotic War. Knowledge of the main features of documentation are necessary for further work with archival documents.

3.1.2. It should be noted that during the war, accounting for the dead military workers was organized quite clearly (as far as possible in the conditions of war). With an interval of 10 days (sometimes less often), each military unit of the current army sent a loan list of irrevocable losses to the higher headquarters - "report on irrevocable losses ...". In this report, for each dead military personnel, it was indicated: surname, name, patronymic, year of birth, title, position, date and place of death, place of burial, military registration and enlistment office, address of the residence and names of parents or wife. The reports from different parts were collected in the managing the headquarters of the Red Army General Staff (later - in the Central Bureau of the Red Army Losses). Similar reports were presented by hospitals about the dead and diseases of military personnel.

These reports after the war were transferred to TsAMO, and on their basis a card file of irrevocable losses was drawn up. The personal card of the serviceman was transferred information from the report of the military unit, the number of the military unit and the number under which this report was taken into account.

3.1.3. The notice of the death of the soldier was sent to the headquarters of the part in which he served as the deceased, as a rule, in the draft community. The military registration and enlistment office made up a duplicate of the notice, which was sent to relatives, and at its foundation subsequently made a pension. Originals of notifications remained on storage in the military registration and enlistment office. On the original notice stood a round print and an angular stamp with the name of the military unit, or its conditional five-digit number. Some of the notices of the headquarters of military units was sent directly to the address of relatives, bypassing the draft board, which was a violation of the established procedure. Part of the notices of the post-war issuance is issued by district military registration and enlistment offices on the submission of the Central Bureau of Losses. On all the notices issued by the military registration and enlistment office, there were seal and props of the military registration and enlistment office, and the number of the military unit was usually not caused.

In the notice of the death of the serviceman was indicated: the name of the part, title, position, date and place of the death of the soldier and the place of burial. (An image of the notice of the death of a serviceman on the site of soldiers.ru.)

3.1.4. Two ways to indicate the names of military units in an open (uncompetitive) correspondence should be distinguished:

a) in the period 1941-42. The documents indicated the actual name of the part - for example, 1254 rifle regiment (sometimes indicating the division number);

b) in the period 1943-45. The conditional name of the military unit was indicated - for example, the "military unit 57950", which corresponded to the same 1254 SP. Five-digit numbers were assigned to parts of the NGO, and the four-digit parts of the NKVD.

3.1.5. A soldier who was absent in terms of an unknown reason was considered to be considered, and the search for 15 days did not give results. Information about the missing also was also transferred to the higher headquarters, and the relatives sent a notice of missing. In this case, in the notice of the missing military personnel, the name of the military unit was indicated, the date and place of the missing serviceman.

Most military personnel, missing missing, died in retreat, or when exploring the fight, or surrounded, i.e. In cases where the battlefield remains behind the opponent. To witness their death for various reasons was difficult. The missing launched also fell:

- servicemen who have captured,

- Deserters,

- Commanded, not arriving at the destination,

- Scouts that have not returned from the task

- Personal composition of integer parts and units when they turned out to be broken and did not remain those commanders who could reliably convey to the top of the instance on specific types of losses.

However, the cause of the absence of a soldier could be not only his death. For example, a warrior who retold from the division on the march could be included in another military unit in which he then continued to fight. Wounded from the battlefield could be evacuated by the fighters of another unit and sent directly to the hospital. There are cases when relatives during the war came several notices ("funeral"), and the person turned out to be alive.

3.1.6. In cases where, from the military unit, there was no information about irrevocable losses in the higher headquarters (for example, with the death of part or its headquarters surrounded by the loss of documents), the notice of relatives could not be directed, because Lists of parties parties were among lost staff documents.

3.1.7. After the end of the war, district commissocarters conducted work on collecting information about the soldiers of the servicemen (omnounce). In addition, relatives of the military personally unfilled with the war could on their own initiative to make a question commission for the shape of the wrong question with the war.

Based on the information from the military registration and enlistment office, the losses was replenished with cards compiled according to the results of a survey of relatives. In such cards, the recording could be present "Correspondence was interrupted in December 1942", and the number of the military unit was usually absent. If, in the card, compiled on the basis of the report from the military registration and enlistment office, the number of the military unit is indicated, then it should be treated as a likely, presumative. The date of the missing serviceman in this case was established by the military commissar usually by adding three-six months to the date of the last letter. The USSR MWS directive was recommended by the district military commissioners to assign a loss of missing the following rules:

1) if the relatives of the soldier unfurnished with the war lived on the unexposed territory, then it was necessary to add three months to the date of the last letter received,

2) If the relatives of the soldier unfurnished from the war during the war remained in the occupied territory, then it was necessary to add three months to the date of liberation of the territory.

The statement of the residential survey and questionnaires Also stored in TsAMO (department 9), and there may be information that is missing in the card. When filling out the card, not all information given in the statement of the residential survey was not usually introduced or questionnaireSince there was no ability to check the information recorded from the words of relatives. Therefore, if it is known that the family of the serviceman received emails from him from the front, but later these letters were lost, then some information from these letters (the PPS number, the date of the letter) may be in the department of the residential survey. When answering the fate of the military personnel, the archive employees do not have the ability to find the statement of the residential survey. You will have to search for them on your own, but most likely, - with a personal visit to the archive. The RVC reporting number indicating the year is affixed by a personal card. After the site appears on the Internet, the OBD Memorial site has become possible to conduct an independent search for source documents.

3.2. Brief information about archives

Most of the documents belonging to the period of the Great Patriotic War are kept in the central archive of the Ministry of Defense (TsAMO). Below will mainly be described by the search for the military commissariat of defense (NPO) and, accordingly, the links will be made to the archive of TsAMO, since it is in him that the archives of the People's Commissariat of Defense (and then - the Ministry of Defense) from June 22, 1941 in the eighties. (Addresses of departmental archives on the site soldier.ru.)

Card files of the victims and missing NGO servicemen during the years of the Great Patriotic War are kept in the central archive of the Ministry of Defense (TsAMO). Similar files loss are available in:

a) the central naval archive in Gatchina - on the personal composition of the fleet, coastal service and aircraft Navy,

b) the Russian State Military Archive in Moscow - on persons who served in organs, compounds and parts of the NKVD,

c) the archive of the Federal Border Guard Service of the FSB of the Russian Federation in the city of Pushkino, Moscow region - on border guards.

In addition to the listed archives, the necessary documentation may be in state regional archives and in departmental archives.

Part of the information can be obtained on the site "OBD Memorial"

To obtain information about the fate of the serviceman, you must send a request to TsAMO (or to other archives specified above), which briefly indicate the well-known information about the serviceman. In the envelope, it is also recommended to attach a mail envelope with a brand and with your home address to speed up the response. (Tsamo Post Address and Sample Application on Soldier.Ru.)

If the military rank of a soldier is unknown or there is reason to assume that he could have been assigned an officer title, then in a statement in TsAMO should write "I ask you to check for personal files and card files of losses 6, 9, the 11th departments of TsAMO" (in departments 6, 9 , 11 are underway card files, respectively, on political, ordinary and sergeant, officer compositions).

Recommended simultaneously in the same letter to send a statement with a request to "clarify awards" and specify the name, first name, patronymic, year and place of birth of a serviceman. In TsAMO, there is a card file of all the awarded servicemen of the Red Army, and it may be that the desired soldier was awarded a medal or an order. (An image of the "Account Card Awarded" and the request of the request on the site of Soldier.Ru.)

Due to the insufficient financing of the archive, the answer from it can come by mail after 6-12 months, so if there is an opportunity, it is better to personally visit the archive. (The address of TsAMO on the site of Soldier.Ru.) You can also place a request in the military registration and enlistment office, in this case the request to the archive will be issued on the Military Office forms with the signature of the military commissar and the seal.

Since 2007, only citizens of the Russian Federation have been allowed in TsAMO to indicate the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, which, apparently, forgot that the natives of all Republics of the USSR fought and died.

3.4. Received a response from TsAMO. Response Analysis

Thus, a letter from TsAMO (or the result of self-searching in the "Memorial") may contain 4 options for answering:

1) Message about the death of a serviceman indicating the number of the military unit, the dates and place of death, the title and place of burial.

2) the message of the missing serviceman indicating the number of the military unit, the dates and place of the disappearance.

3) the message of the missing serviceman, compiled on the basis of a survey of relatives, with incomplete, unverified or unreliable information.

4) a message on the absence of information about the serviceman in the loss card file.

If you are lucky, and the answer from TsAMO contains the name of the military unit, then you can proceed to clarify the military path of the serviceman (see below)

If you are very lucky, and a credit card on your relative was found in the card file, and an extract from it was sent to you in the archive response, then you should familiarize yourself with the same Tsamo with a premium sheet, which provides a brief description of the feat or merit awarded. The description of the work in TsAMO is given below, and the search description in the military commissocarter can be skipped.

If it was not possible to establish the number of the military unit, in which your relative served, then you will have to continue searching in the military registration and enlistment office and in other departmental archives. This is below.

4. Search for information at the place of call

4.1. Brief information about the organization of work in the RVC on the staffing of the army

4.1.1. In order to properly compile a request to Railienkomat (RVC), you should familiarize yourself with the organization of the work of the RVK on the staffing of the current army (yes).

4.1.2. RVK made a call and mobilization of citizens, as well as their distribution in service.

Citizens designed to the army (i.e., not previously served) could be directed

- in a spare or educational regiment or brigade, deployed at the time near the call of the call,

- To the military unit formed in the area.

Citizens mobilized from the stock (i.e. already served in the army) could immediately be directed immediately to the front as part of the Martyr Roth or battalions.

4.1.3. Movies companies (battalions) were usually directed not directly to the combat part, but first they arrived at an army or front-line forwarding point (PP) or to an army or front spare rifle regiment (or a spare rifle brigade).

4.1.4. The newly formed, reformed or dull military units went to the front and participated in hostilities under their numbers.

4.1.5. Spare shelves and brigades took an unprepared military contingent, made initial military training and sent military personnel to the front or in educational institutions. Sending to the front was usually carried out as part of a march mouth or battalions. The constant and variable composition of the spare military units should be distinguished. To the permanent composition, servicemen were related to the functioning of the military unit: the headquarters of the regiment, control, commanders of battalions, mouth and platforms, employees of nursaners, a separate company of communication, etc. To the variable composition treated servicemen enrolled in the spare part for military training. The period of location in the spare parts of the variable composition was from several weeks to several months.

4.1.6. In the military registration and enlistment office for each recruit (i.e., a "call map" was drawn up for the first time and previously not served in the army). It was recorded in the conscript, the results of medical examination and information about parents. On its reverse side, the penultimate item contains the number of the draft command and the date of sending the command. (Image of a callmap on the site of soldiers.ru.)

4.1.7. The military-obligated stock is the person who has passed the actual military service in the Red Army and RKVMF, and in stock 1 or 2 categories. The "Accounting Card of the Military Bar", in which there were no data on relatives did not have any data on relatives at the place of residence (or other circumstances), the medical data was briefly given, the dates of issuing a mobilization prescription and the site of the registry, the conditional number of the draft team To which the military-ridden is attributed when declaring mobilization. Also, information was made to the account of the military ticket, place of work, positions, home addresses. The second account of the account was in the headquarters of the part to which a citizen was attributed. (Image of a military accounting card on the soldier's website.ru.)

Under the numbers of call teams, already existing personnel compounds and their parts were specially encrypted, which were due to the call of military-ridden reserves ascribed to them, to turn to the number of military time. Accordingly, lists of such call commands may be preserved in the RVC, and in different RVCs for the same personnel military unit, the number of the draft team was the same, because Personnel military part, where they followed concrete called, the same.

4.1.8. In addition to the above documents, the following logs were conducted in each RVC:

- Alphabetical books designed to the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War ...

- Alphabetical books to register the dead ...

- registered lists of ordinary and sergeant composition, taken into account dead and missing ...

The above "alphabetical books designed to the Soviet Army ..." was compiled on the basis of call-on cards and military accounting cards, but have a significantly smaller set of information compared to original documents. In many military registration and enlistment offices, call maps and accounting cards were destroyed after the storage period. In some military registration and enlistment offices, these documents are still stored.

4.1.9. When sending a call command in the military registration and enlistment office, a "name list on the call command" was compiled. In addition, in addition to the registered list of military personnel, the number of the military unit is indicated (conditional - "V.Ch. N 1234", or valid - "333 SD") and the address of this part. (Image of the name list on the team on the site of the soldiers.ru.) In many military registration and enlistment offices, "registered lists ..." were destroyed after the storage period. In some military registration and enlistment offices, they still are stored.

4.2. Search for information in the military

4.2.1. If the number of the military unit is not specified in the response from the archive or if there are no information about the serviceman in the archive, then continue the search will have to be in the military registration and enlistment office. You can send to the military registration and enlistment office by mail or appear personally. The latter, of course, is preferable. If the exact address of the military registration and enlistment office is unknown, then on the envelope you can write only the name of the city (without specifying the street and at home), and in the column "to" write: "Railoincomat" - the letter will come. The application must specify all the well-known information about the serviceman. (Sample application in RVK and postal indexes on the site of soldiers.ru.)

Since accounting documents with different names were compiled on recruits and mobilized, and whether the wanted face was not always known before the war, then in the statement in the RVC it \u200b\u200bis recommended to ask to provide copies of both documents: a draft card and a military accounting card.

4.2.2. If the conventional number of the military unit is indicated in the response received from the RVK That you need to determine the number is valid. ("Directory of conditional names of military units (agencies) in 1939 - 1943" and "Certificate of military units - RKKE field mail in 1943-1945" on the site Soldier.Ru.)

4.2.3. It should be recalled that the archives of the military registration and enlistment offices who were temporarily occupied territories in the Western regions and the republics of the Soviet Union could be lost.

4.2.4. The search for information about the personnel and direction of following the marching mouth and battalions is very complicated, because In the process of following to the front line, the march parts could be redirected to the renovation points (PP), located on the route of the following route, or rejected into spare rifle shelves and armies and front panels. Marsh companies who arrived in the combat part sometimes in circumstances were immediately introduced into battle without proper enrollment into the staff of the unit.

4.3. Spare parts and military units of local formation

4.3.1. If there is no opportunity to find out in the military office of the call where the recruit was sent, then continuing the search should be carried out in the funds Spare and curriculous parts deployed at the time near the settlement of the call. Usually they were sent to teach previously unusual conscripts. Further search for information should be performed in documents of these parts in Tsamo. (Directory "Dislocation of Spare and Training Parts" on the site Soldier.Ru.)

The fighting losses of the USSR is calculated until the last person

According to the materials of the long-term statistical study of the combat loss of the Soviet Union, made by the main organizational and mobilization department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces (USSR-Russia).

In total, 34.476.7 thousand people were called upon to the Armed Forces of the USSR during the years of the Great Patriotic War, including mobilized - 29.574.9 thousand. More than 33% of the USSR citizens have ever put on overweights every year in the ranks, of which, approximately half (5-6.5 million) were constantly as part of the army in the Soviet-German Front.

The number of fronts acting against the German fascist troops was inconvenient and amounted to: a little more than 3.0 million people in 1941 and 6.7 million people in 1944.

490 thousand women were called to the army and on the fleet.

As of July 1, 1945, 11.390.6 thousand people were dismissed in the armed forces on the list, they were treated in hospitals - 1.046 thousand people and consisted of satisfaction in other departments - 403.2 thousand.

Of the total number of personnel servicemen and designed to the Armed Forces, during the war, decreased by various reasons 21.7 million people.

# COMM # shared losses of the Red Army and Navy for the entire war with Germany 1941-1945. (taking into account sanitary loss) make up 29.592.749 people. # / COMM #

Including:

Killed and died at the evacuation stage - 5.177.410;

Died from wounds in hospitals - 1.100.327;

Non-refundable losses - 540.580;

Disappeared, and unaccounted losses were captured - 4.454.709;

Total common irrevocable losses - 11.273.026. Of these, combat irretrievable losses - 8.668.400.

Sanitary losses with evacuation in Hospital - 18.319.723.

Along with the personnel of the army and fleet, other military formations, militia, partisans and underground workers took part in hostilities. The army passed 40 divisions of the militia, of which 26 passed through the entire war (over 2.0 million people were in the population of the army). During the war years, more than 6,000 partisan detachments operated in the rear of the enemy, in which there were more than 1 million people.

... As a result of generalization and analysis of data from various sources, it was determined that during the war years they were missing and captured 4.559 thousand Soviet soldiers, which are distributed as follows:

Died in battles and attributed to the missing - about 500 thousand;

Returned from the captivity after the end of the war - 1.836 thousand;

It was called for the secondary in the Armed Forces - 939 thousand.

Thus, in German captivity there were about 4.059 thousand servicemen, of which more than 1.2 million were intentionally killed or died as a result of hunger and torture. These figures disagree with "generally accepted" mythical data, since the Germans took into account as "prisoners" of all men in the USSR territory aged 17 to 55 years. So, according to the General Staff of the Red Bank, more than 500 thousand military-ridicated, designed, but not falling into troops and not taken into account in the lists of parts. Consolidated data gives reason to talk about the destruction of more than 3.6 million Soviet civilians in fascist concentration camps under the guise of "prisoners of war."

# COMM # General human losses in Germany, including the mobilized men's population of Austria, amounted to 13,448 thousand people, 75.1 percent of the number of numbers. At the same time, irretrievable losses on the Soviet-German front amounted to 6.923.7 thousand people. # / COMM #

The Allies of Germany (Hungary, Italy, Romania and Finland) on the Soviet-German front lost irretrievably 1.725.8 thousand people. After May 9, before the Soviet troops, weapons were put together and 1.284 thousand soldiers and opponent officers surrendered.

Thus, human losses of Germany and its allies in hostilities against the USSR amounted to 8.649.5 thousand people.

According to the materials of the "Help Service of Germany", the total number of USSR buried on the territory of the USSR and countries of Eastern Europe is 3.226 thousand, including the names of only 2.395 thousand buried soldiers and officers. According to German, very controversial data (especially in 1945) from the number of prisoners of war (2.4 million) returned to Germany 1.939 thousand people, 450.6 thousand Germans died in captivity.

According to the Soviet command, the total number of prisoner servicemen from Germany on the accounting data of the NKVD and registered lists was 3.777.3 thousand people. Of these, over 600 thousand prisoners of different nationalities were released directly at the front.

In addition, various foreign and voluntary formations of up to 600 thousand people participated on the side of Germany. The irrevocable losses of the Spanish and Slovak divisions, the French, Belgians and Flemadsev, Roa, Oun, the Baltic and Muslim SES and police formations amounted to about 230 thousand people killed.

In the period of hostilities (August-September 1945), the Japanese Quantongy army lost 83.7 thousand and prisoners of 640.1 thousand people.
